Jenelle Cruz named DII Softball Player of the Week

Congratulations to SJR State's Jenelle Cruz for being named Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) DII softball Player of the Week! 

Cruz batted .600 (3-for-5) with three runs scored, two doubles, one home run, five RBI and one stolen base in two games. 

Cruz helped the Vikings to a doubleheader sweep of Chipola to open the season. 

Cruz went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI in game one; 2-for-3, homered and drove in three runs in game two.
