Cruz gets Player of the Week honors

Freshman shortstop Jenelle Cruz was named FCSAA DII Softball Player of the Week.
Cruz batted .786 (11-for-14) with eight runs scored, three doubles, three RBI and two stolen bases in five games.
Cruz hit safely and scored in each game and went 6-for-7 in a doubleheader sweep vs. Chipola.
Cruz went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two runs scored in game one vs. Pasco-Hernando State.
